External trade statistics cover any movements of goods between the EU Member States and non-member countries (extra-EU trade), and from one Member State to another (intra-EU trade). 'Goods' means all movable property, including electric current. The product breakdowns available in Newcronos/Euro-indicators are based on aggregates derived from the Broad Economic Categories (BEC) classification and the Standard International Trade Classification (SITC).
